The Challenge:
Laneway and Character Merit Infill homes in the City of Vancouver take thorough planning and close collaboration with the planning, building, and landscape departments. Parallel has successfully provided our clients with their development and building permit designs leading to construction drawings for their Laneway and Character Merit Infill homes. Shown here is a one home completed in 2020. We currenty have a second one under construction in East Vancouver.

The Solution:
Working closely with the client and through coordination with all requirements from the various departments at the City of Vancouver, this laneway home is now an attractive addition to the East Vancouver neighbourhood, adding a much needed home!
