Leadership
Originally from Sweden, Bengt came to Canada in 1989 and has since
worked closely with Vancouver's top architectural firms on many of
the city's high profile projects. His award-winning work is on display
throughout British Columbia.
As Parallel's managing partner for structural engineering, Bengt
is available to lead structural design projects with all major building
systems and types.

During his career Bengt has successfully completed more than 200 building projects and worked with some of the most respected and recognized consulting engineering firms in British Columbia. Projects completed include Red Mountain Day Lodge Expansion, Mount Seymour Day Lodge, UBC Childcare Expansion, Vancouver Aquarium Diversification Laboratory, NOTC Dining/Galley
Building for CFB Esquimalt, and award-winning projects such as Prince George Airport in Prince George
and the Banser Residence and Family Retreat. Bengt also played an active
role in developing an innovative timber floor system for multi-storey
residential buildings in Sweden.
He continues to have a special interest in timber structures and
architecturally exposed structures.
