Revit Specialist / Architectural Technologist: Duties and Responsibilities:
- Leadership with the creation, expansion, and maintenance of company Revit standards
- Working with staff to further their training and development with the use of Revit
- Collaborate with other technologists and engineers as required by the project
- Review and assess content and quality of drawings
- Generate architectural drawing packages and Revit models
- Work with a team to coordinate projects with consultants and municipalities
- Monitor and manage time budgets on work performed
- Mentor and develop co-workers with architectural technology
Revit Specialist / Architectural Technologist: Skills and Attributes :
- Certificate/diploma in Architectural Drafting Technology from Technical Collage or Institute
- Registration or eligibility for registration with the AIBC as an Architectural Technologist
- Minimum 5 years of Revit drawing experience working on a variety of large and small projects
- Strong understanding of envelope and construction assemblies and detailing
- An aptitude to work with existing structures.
- Strong aptitude for graphics standards skills and a desire to create beautiful drawings
- Ability to utilize other 3D modelling programs such as Sketch-Up, AutoCAD, Vectorworks
- Self-motivated, with a willingness to learn and continue upgrading technical knowledge.
- Team player who enjoy collaborating with project team members
- Strong verbal and written English communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Passionate appreciation for Architectural designs and drawings
- Service and client/customer orientated
