Parallel is a team of energetic architectural technologists and structural engineers ready to collaborate on building projects with clients and other design and construction professionals.

The Parallel Group of Companies includes the following business divisions:

Parallel.AT Services Inc. Established in 2000, we provide production services for architectural, engineering and construction firms. We are a contract drawing services company providing architectural technologist services to a variety of firms throughout British Columbia.

Parallel Consulting Structural Engineers Ltd. Built on the almost 20 years of experience of our principal engineer, we were formed in 2006 to provide additional services to Parallel’s architectural and development clients.

Our partners lead our business:

Malcolm Cairns is Parallel’s founding partner and leads our architectural technology division. Malcolm offers almost 20 years of experience working with construction firms, interior design firms and architectural firms in BC’s Lower Mainland.

Bengt Jansson is the managing partner of our structural design division. Bengt is a structural engineer with more than 18 years of experience designing architectural building projects in Vancouver and around the world.
